EVERGREEN HEAT,INC was started in 2006 to offer affordable, quality, INDOOR wood fuel heating equipment with units to see on display, straight- forward information on performance and a high level of service and support. It was obvious after hurricane Katrina that we need a different fuel to heat buildings with. Using wood or pellets in wood boilers and furnaces quickly became the choice. After 24 years in the wholesale distribution of oil and gas central heating business, it was easy to make the jump to renewable biomass heating. There was and still is a need for a supplier with an extensive background in central heating system design and operation. Most of the existing retailers at the time were stove shops and lumber yards with little experience in boilers. Units were sold with no support or follow-up that is necessary with a solid fuel unit. The “ outdoor water furnace “ was being promoted and has since proven to be a big waste of wood and money. Compare that “technology” to the old-fashioned outhouse.
