By choosing wood pellets and corn for fuel, you can buy 40lb bags or 1 ton
pallets. Pellets are widely available from the hardware, feed or
big box retailers. You can also buy volume and get delivery from
www.pelletsales.com. There is less work in handling and the beauty of
TRAEGER pellet/corn heating equipment is that the fuel is metered based on the
heat demand for that day.
Most units need only one load per day and a weekly brush down and ash cleanout.
Warmer days permit 3 to 4 days. The TRAEGER units will also burn shelled
corn which helps area farmers. These are great features -- fuel
flexibility, less loading and the ability to order units up to 400,000 BTU for
commercial/municipal applications. Another great feature of the warm air
units is the ability to add air conditioning, outside air ventilation and
filtration to your system.
Pellets are the renewable fuel of the future with
manufacturing plants in Athens and Corinth, Maine and also in Jaffery and
Berlin, New Hampshire. Along with these locations, there are dozens of
high capacity mills throughout North America producing thousands of tons per
day.
